The Wilkinson Rod Tube
The ultimate protection for your valuable fly rod, Wilkinson rod tubes are individually hand crafted by award winning master craftsman Wilbur Wilkinson using the finest materials available.
At the heart of the tube is a carbon fibre / aramid [kevlar] composite core. This is bonded with outer layers of one of a number of very beautiful Tasmanian timbers. The tube has a removable lining sleeve fabricated from ‘pro shield’ material. The result is an extremely strong and handsome combination with excellent thermal and physical shock protection characteristics.
